  • XBO - Image How is CFD trading different from spot trading?
    • Spot trading involves buying/selling the actual asset.
    • CFD trading is purely derivative — you don't own the asset but trade on its price movement.
    • CFDs often allow leverage, amplifying potential gains and losses.
  • XBO - Image Is leverage available on CFDs at XBO?

Yes. XBO.com offers leverage for eligible CFD products. The specific leverage available depends on the asset class and your account status.

Note that leverage increases both potential profits and risks.

  • XBO - Image Do I own the stock or asset in CFD trading?

No. With CFDs, you're entering a contract based on the asset's price movement. You do not receive dividends or voting rights as you would with physical ownership.

Yes. Positions held overnight may incur a funding fee depending on the asset and market conditions.

These are transparently listed within the trading interface before you confirm a position.

  • XBO - Image Are CFDs suitable for beginners?

CFD trading involves higher risk due to leverage and market volatility. While the platform is accessible to all users, we recommend users fully understand the risks and consider starting with a demo or lower exposure.

CFDs are regulated financial products in many jurisdictions. XBO.com complies with applicable licensing and regulatory frameworks in the regions where we operate. Always trade responsibly and in accordance with local laws.

  • XBO - Image What are CFD trading fees on XBO?

    Trading fee

Our trading fees are simple and flat:

    Maker fee

    Taker fee

    0.030%

    0.060%

    Makers and takers

A maker order is a limit order that is placed and not executed immediately.

For example, if the current lowest ask price for NVIDIA is $175 and you place a buy limit order below the market price (e.g., $170), the order will not be filled immediately. Once it is filled, you will pay a maker fee. If you place a buy limit order at $175 or above, the order will be executed immediately, and in this case, you will pay a taker fee.
